MHF traffics in guitar-based anthems that straddle the line between melody and noise, accessibility and uncertainty, triumph and despair. Think GbV, Pavement, Archers of Loaf. Starting in 1995, they were the solo recording project of Eric O’Connor, before turning into a living, breathing band in 2010. This Terrible Engine and Logic Monster (2017) are their 6th and 7th albums respectively.
