Mag Health’s most introspective LP yet, with poetic lyrics (often looking inside souls both light and dark). Eric O’Connor’s latest batch of songs demonstrate both serious growth as a writer and as a producer. It’s a bit more laid-back than before, but a couple of good reference points might be the Byrds melded with the more guitar-driven part of Of Montreal’s early catalogue.
